What do you think the national average was for a gallon of gas before Obama was elected? $2.70? $2.50? My recent interview survey averaged $2.61. But this number is no where close!
In the summer of 2008, before Barack Obama was elected, gas prices were nationally averaged at a mere $1.83 per gallon. Right now I’m sitting in a coffee shop looking across the street and seeing $3.59. How do those numbers sound for a candidate who promised to lower the gas prices? I say that those numbers stipulate the change we didn’t need, and the change we didn’t want.
So what is the real reason for the screaming gas prices? In my opinion it leads back to the core issue of every crisis we currently face, lack of integrity in America’s leaders today. Our Federal Government has decided that we should not drill in the areas of America that are readily available fuel sources, in order that we might “save” that fuel for later generations who might need it more. Mr. Obama, since when have you cared about our next generation?
