Standfast theThirteen States!
The gay community have advanced their cause by positioning the claim for same-sex marriage as a matter of human rights and being able to, "marry who you love." This fallacious reasoning has won the support of the young and the naive at a time when the defenders of normal marriage have been woefully inarticulate.
The banning of same-sex marriage violates no human rights because our rights are not absolute claims and in the same way that free speech, free movement and free assembly are limited by the laws of libel, trespass and riotous assembly, so is marriage limited by age, affinity and gender and those limits should remain. You cannot "marry who you love" if the person is a child, a sister or another man.
Man mating with man is unnatural because a man does not have a sexual orifice to receive a man. It is as unnatural as uprooting a tree and planting the branches in the earth. Aberrations notwithstanding, gender is determined by the X and Y chromosomes and cannot be falsified by the homosexual bully pulpit. Mental and emotional harm can come to children brought up by same-sex parents.
President Madison, writing in the Federalist, warned that our institutions could someday be corrupted by, "an interested and overbearing minority." Stand fast, Louisiana, stand fast theThirteen States, as in 1776.
