The following thoughts were written by a friend of mine recently. I concur with the point being made about the subtlety of Communism and how it creeps into our lives on a daily basis.  As for the naysayers out there who want to scream “conspiracy theory,” I say you are part of the problem. YOU are feeding the cancer that eats away at our nation.   I will echo Grant Swanson’s thoughts here on Louisiana Conservative in hopes that more people will read it and pass it along. He says, “I speak to many people about the trouble our great nation is in and I am ashamed to see so many good people who have already given up on any possible chance of saving our freedoms. Instead of arguing with them, I have put pen to paper and now I just hand out this article. Please post it for all to see.”

So here it is – and in the meantime, have you told your kids how much you love your country today?

Tyranny comes slowly but surely.

If I kicked in the front door of your home and took your children and grandchildren to sell them into slavery, what would you do? You would fight me off or call the Police, wouldn’t you?

Well, what if I came in the form of a cute little pink bunny rabbit on a children’s program? What if I was your child’s friendly teacher? I would smile and talk to your children every day and tell them little lies about bad things and evil people like you.

And, slowly but surely I would turn them against you. Then, when they are older, they would eventually walk out the front door on their own and into captivity. What would you do then? Would you be able to fight me? Would you be able to call the Police?

Time is corrosive! It gives evil the room to work its horror. At first people fight, scream, and rage against the corruption and lies. But then, people become complacent and weak because the struggle appears never-ending and hope seems to be lost. They become discouraged, bitter, negative, overwhelmed, and eventually self-defeating. This is how tyranny works!
You Americans are so gullible. No, you won’t accept communism outright. But we’ll keep feeding you small doses of socialism until you finally wake up and find you already have communism. Was Khrushchev right? We may not have had a military coup that changed things overnight, but we have had a gradual attack on our belief in the essential nature of freedom. These ‘small doses of socialism’ have changed America and have been the cause for the gradual loss of much of our freedom.
There are a few things that keep me strong during these hard times. The love I have for my Lord, my kids, my wife, and my country. I also remember the history of the birth of this great nation and the 15% of the population who treasured, fought, supported, and sacrificed their very lives during the Revolutionary War.

So, are you part of the 15%? What about your kids and grand-kids? Are you going to fight when it’s kicking in your front door to take them, or are you simply going to hand them over?

Remember this when you’re telling somebody ‘nothing can be done,’ or ‘they won’t let this happen.’

Now this rates very high on the weird scale, combining Obama and Oil in the same line is like placing a tiger next to a mouse! Obama has stood before crowds many times and stated that the United States only has a mere 2% of the worlds oil! This is perhaps the largest lie being stated since the Global Warming scam surfaced! According to a report from Energy & Capitol, our nation holds at least 3 “TRILLION” barrels of Oil and this is more then the entire world has on hand and this is within 3 states near the middle of the United States and does not count the vast amounts in the Gulf Of Mexico yet to be discovered and what they have found in North Dakota and Montana! All together the United States has close to some 4 “TRILLION” barrels of Oil and some Quadrillion Cubic Feet of Natural gas, much more then any other nation in the WORLD!! Now why does Obama allow such a huge lie to be told to the very people he is hurting by NOT allowing these resources to be drilled into? Because he is STILL listening to his Communst friend, Van Jones and others who do not like or want to use Oil, Coal, or Natural Gas!

President, (I have to use this title very loosely when speaking about Obama because he should not be addressed as such since he is an insult to the title and nation!), Obama killed drilling in the Gulf of Mexico due to the BP oil spill, but what he did there was nothing compared to what he did in Idaho where he shut down oil wells that were producing oil on a daily basis because they could be seen for 100 miles away! That was the reason to shut down operating wells that could help the United States produce oil here and NOT have to worry about other nations suppling our oil! Come on now, Obama is hurting the very people he says he wants to help. With gasoline jumping up to close to $4.00 a gallon and yet Obama seems to be like a duck, anything bad just does not stick to Obama at all!

I have to mention here that our nation needs around 50 new Oil refineries and some say that as many as 100 new refineries are needed! The problem here is that with the head of the EPA being a very strong Green person and she does not want to allow the building of new oil refineries! Our nation has not opened any new oil refineries in over 20 years and now it is paying the price! But Obama is now behind the closing of 5 Coal mines due to HIS policy of having a “Green” environment. People will say that the President cannot control the gasoline prices or Coal production, or Natural Gas prices and production, yet if Obama did not have such a very bad policy on our natural resources, our nation could have total dependence from foreign oil!

Some will be quick to say that Obama cannot control the production of oil, Natural Gas, or Coal, yet his policies can! Under Obama, our production of oil fields have dropped, he has forced the closure of 5 Coal mines due to his regulations that made it much harder for Coal mines to operate! Of course we know that Obama is very happy to “FORCE” people to use electric cars and such. Think about this, if Obama could shut down the production of oil and gas, he could “FORCE” people to use the little electric cars and other”efficient” means of transportation! Now take a look at the very idea of these cars, they cost more then a normal car and no one wishes to mention that it will cost you some $8,000 just to install the charger for these cars! They also do not tell you just how is increasing Electricity demands due to the use of all electric cars. Think of what Obama had stated when he was running for his job, Obama stated, “Electricty prices will neccessary skyrocket.” Now he is doing just what he stated during his campaign and guess what, the very people that supported him are now suffering from high energy prices and it carries on from there.

Obama is behind all the price increases of our fuel and food! Now just how can I make such a broad statement and make it stick? It is very simple, I had requested the people from the Keystone Pipeline to answer a few questions and they did. I sent 8 Questions to Trans Canada, the people that have many pipelines in our nation and they stated in response to my question;

Question 6. Are you able and willing to wait until Congress forces the
vote to accept the pipeline?

The decision on when to re-file an application, or what that application (or applications) may look like is up to our customers and shippers. As a business, if we do not have commercial support, then projects like this cannot proceed. Since the denial of the Presidential Permit at this time, we continue to talk with our shippers and customers to get their direction on how to proceed next.

WOW!! Do you see what they stated, let me emphize what they stated! “Since the denial of the Presidential Permit at this time…” How else can it be stated, “Presidential Permit”, this is direct evidence that Obama, no one else, stopped the Keystone pipeline where our nation could very well have helped keep the price down but now it is as Obama stated, “SKYROCKETING”!! Is that what Obama said would happen when he took office? It is just what he said about Electricity so why not do it to Oil, Coal, and Natural gas? Obama IS the problem because had he allowed the pipeline, drilling and production along with building oil refineries, all due to Obama NOT allowing these natural resources to be removed from below our nation!!

Obama has done more to injure our nationthrough his refusal to allow drilling everywhere, to extract Coal from the vast Coal fields our nation has, and most important, the Natural Gas fields Obama has not allowed to be explored or has shut down! One report has stated that with the use of Oil that we use today, OUR nation, the United States has enough Oil alone to keep the nation running on oil for the next 673 years! The United States and our neighbor, Canada, hold more oil, natural gas, and coal then the entire world has on hand now! Yet Obama wishes the people he is supposed to be helping believe we only have 2% of the world’s supply! Obama is wrong on all fronts when it comes to HELPING the middle class, especially since it is due to Obama that our nation has NOT obtained more oil that lies below our nations surface! Obama has stopped or tried to stop all the use of our natural resources through either the department of energy, the department of the interior, or through the EPA!! It is the policies of Obama that is causing the very people Obamais supposed to want to help that are going to be hurt the most due to the Obama energy policy, or lack thereof! When it all comes down to where the direction of any sort of energy policy comes from, all roads lead to, OBAMA!!!

WOW!! So Many questions, so very few answers! Has anyone ever raised really truthful questions about this so-called President? There are so very many questions about Obama that if the questions alone were answered they would probably cost him the election and he would lose by the largest amount ever. By now many have clicked off this and gone on, for those interested enough to ask questions, let me say here that all of the questions I am going to ask about Obama have never been asked nor have they been answered truthfully! We all know that everyone knows something about the background of the people they know. If you know a person for say 10 years or more, you know what they did in high school, what they may have done in grade school, what they did before they got married, why they got married. Simple little questions that are answered with basic small talk. Yet NONE of them have been defined by Obama in any way!

Let me get the most controversial question out the way first since it is one that should be answered first. Just where was Obama born? Yes, he did present a birth certificate, but it was doctored up so bad that even a simple look back at the hospital showed that the one he claimed to be born at was not even in existence yet. His explanation of this one question along brings many different questions to bear. Questions like if he was not born in Hawaii, where was he born and if he was not born in Hawaii, then what happens to all the different programs he passed and the Executive orders he passed and his appointments, and all the other “legal” ramifications that pop up should it come to be that Obama is NOT a Citizen nor a “Natural Born” United States Citizen. These are all very good and real questions to be asked yet few will bother to ask them, especially those whom can and should ask them.

One thing that would be answered is his true nation of birth. From this all things would go crazy. All his actions would be null and void and maybe that is the real reason that no one really wants to get the right answer to this one question alone. It would mean that all those extreme left appointees that Obama placed into positions that have not been in good taste or good actions. Many of the very laws he signed including the lousy Health care bill would be null and void! Due to all this mess, it could be why no one is going to challenge Obama very hard on this because if it is proven that his birth place is not in the United States they would have to take actions that would drive our nation and the world into a slight turmoil!

The next question that pops into the arena is the one where it seems that Obama has the Social Security number of a dead man from Connecticut. I must note here that; Jack Caskill writes for World Net Daily. He has written a book entitled “Deconstructing Obama.” Caskill was flummoxed by the reports of a bogus social security number used by Barack Obama between 1977 and 1979 (Another Look at Obama’s Social Security Number, WND, March 17, 2011). The number was issued in Connecticut. Obama has never lived there, nor has any family member. Why would he get a social security card from Connecticut?
Caskill contacted Susan Daniels, a licensed investigator from Ohio who is very well qualified to research assets for law firms. She lives in the world of databases and has access to many records that public commoners have no access to. Daniels began her own investigation of Barack Obama in 2009 and discovered the dilemma regarding his social security number. “All I can say,” says Daniels of 042-68-4425, “is that it’s phony and [Obama] has been using it with it first appearing on his selective service document in 1980.” Daniels discovered that the applicant for 042-68-4424, Thomas Wood, died at age 19 and lived in Connecticut. Barack Obama applied for 042-68-4425 when he was sixteen years of age living in Hawaii. Why won’t Barack Obama step forward and explain this mystery?

Mr. Caskill brings into question why has Obama used a bogus Social Security number? Why indeed? Most of the time when someone uses another Social security number that does not belong to them it is because they have something to hide or they do not want to be found so now that brings up the question that if this is NOT Obama’s Social Security number, then where is his? Also why does he not use his if he is a true Citizen? There are so many questions to answer just with this one question alone but few people are brave enough to even ask them! One must really ask why does anyone wish to hide their background unless they have something to hide that will injure their position right now!!

Other questions pop up like sneaky snakes along a trail. One that has always puzzled me is just where are all the people that not just worked around Obama, but grew up with him? Where are the girlfriends? Where are his college friends? Where are the people he went to class with? I know that many people remember me even if it was years ago! Just recently I met a man whom worked with me for a short while and he told me that at a funeral another man whom had worked with us asked if he had heard from me. Just this alone shows that people do remember you yet few if any remember Obama, WHY?

The Wall Street Journal reported “Fox News contacted some 400 of his classmates and found no one who remembered him” (WSJ, Obama’s Lost Years, Sept. 11, 2008.) Matt Welch of Reason.com interviewed Wayne Allyn Root, a former ‘classmate’ of Obama at Columbia University back in the 1980’s:
Welch: “So tell us what we should know about Barack Obama that we don’t?”
Root: “I think the most dangerous thing you should know about Barack Obama is that I don’t know a single person at Columbia that knows him, and they all know me. I don’t have a classmate who ever knew Barack Obama at Columbia. Ever!”
This is a prime example of wonder because it makes an intelligent person wonder why is it that no one can remember things that happened with Obama? Is he a ghost? Did he just develop out of thin air? Where did he come from? Of course many of those whom have fallen in love with him will say this is all hogwash, but at the same time, those whom dance with the devil would say the devil is great! Where are the people that remember his actions in college? Why is it that no one can remember his work with the different groups in college? Even if he stayed to himself, people would know of him, so why is it that Obama cannot or has not allowed people to discuss what he did or where he went?

Is it strange that Obama and the Democratic party,(parts of which call themselves SOCIALISTS), can dig up information from 20 years ago on just about any republican, but even though we know that Obama sat in front of a very Radical church that preached hate, no one seems to be able to say they knew or discussed any of the sermons or ideas of that church? Does this even queue your sense to ask why no one has come forward and said yea, I knew Obama when he went to that church, he did this or that? Why is it that no person has come forward and made any statement that they knew him anytime!!

We as a nation have a RIGHT as Obama would say, to know what our Presidents did or did not do. With Obama, all we know is that he is a very good speaker when they have teleprompters, and not so good when he does not have them. Why has none of his girl friends come forward? Why has none of his college roommates come forward and said they knew him when he admitted to doing Cocaine? Did they all die off for some reason? Two college young men did obtain records from one of the colleges that Obama went to and they were immediately sent to jail for doing something no one knew about! It seems that maybe we NEED to find out just why Obama is hiding his background, is it because he had jail time for doing drugs, was he involved in some sort of scandal? They have so very many questions that NEED to be answered now and if none of these questions can be answered, then he should NOT be considered for holding any office! Questions, and more questions, I could go on and on with questions about Obama’s past that seems to be “lost in space”!

President Obama has once again stepped across the line when it comes to living up to the Constitution. Obama has even said that the Constitution keeps getting in his way of what he wants to do so what does Obama do? Obama does what any very good Dictator would do, he circumvents the Congressional power and in doing so he circumvents the very Constitution he took an oath to uphold! Now why is it that we keep allowing Obama to infringe upon the very Constitution he took an oath to uphold? Could it be because people are actually scared that if they do take action as “mandated” by the Constitution, they may face riots in most of the cities across the United States? I would hope that this fear was not the Only reason for not taking action through Congressional and Constitutional laws.

I know some are asking once again, what do you mean once again? Well, we could start with the closed door, closed meetings to pass the Obamacare bill that not a single Representative or Senator actually even read! This is NOT what the founding fathers had wanted the Congress or the people to do. I for one find it very upsetting that Obama freely goes against the very oath of office to not just make a point, but to enforce laws that Congress does not pass! Obama also wanted to have the Cap and Trade bill passed, but Congress saw through the fake ideas of the very wrong, “Global Warming”. This did not stop Obama from abusing his power in forcing the Cap and Trade law by dictating to the EPA to enforce rules that have never been enforced before and to have the EPA to develop new laws to force the Cap and Trade issues.

I cannot forget the take over of General Motors and Chrysler, and the firing of the CEO of General Motors because he did not agree with the Obama ideas! This was the very first time that a President has ever fired a CEO and taken over companies to “keep them from failing”! Then Obama told General Motors to come up with an electric car for Obama’s “Green” energy ideas. This of course is failing very badly due to the very high price of the electric cars and the very high cost to have a charger installed at the homes, this cost alone is some $8,000 and the work cannot be done by just any electrician, it has to be done by a “certified” Government electrician, this is part of the Cap and Trade bill being forced upon the people by Obama because it is the idea of Obama and NOT Congress!

Dick Morris posted an article on The Hill on February 7, 2012 about how Obama is working with Hillary Clinton to destroy our Constitution by giving the United Nations the power to enforce International Criminal Law Over the law of the United States. Mr. Morris also pointed out the so-called Law of the Sea treaty, where the United States will give half of the royalties the United States gets to the world and then it has to also hand over any new technology from offshore drilling to nations that want it for “FREE”! How could this happen? This is not the worst of these treaties that Obama and Hillary Clinton are pushing for, Obama and Clinton also want small Arms Control, this means that the Second Amendment is going to be abolished!! How can Obama even agree or think of doing this at all? These two Traitors, it CANNOT be stated no other way because what they are trying to do with these treaties is directly treasonous! Yet other treaties these two traitors are trying to get done. The Outer Space Code of Conduct where the United sates has to almost stop all space flights, hey, we are already doing this! This treaty would also keep the United States from using missiles in space to stop our enemies!

Obama and Clinton have also begun to look at a treaty that would grant rights to children, called; Rights of the Child. This would set up a code of rights and it would be administrated by 14 members from all over the world. This treaty would force rich nations, like the United States, to provide funds for shelter, food, clothing, and education! It would allow other nations to file challenges the levels of foreign aid the United States gives! It would place the United States Under the power of the United Nations and this would eliminate all of the Constitution! These 5 treaties will destroy our National Sovereignty and force the United States to abide by “world Rule”!

Now considering Obama and his totally ignoring the First Amendment, it sounds like Obama has no need or want for the United States or the Constitution he swore to uphold! His attack upon the First Amendment does not shock me, it is not a surprise at all given all the other things he wishes to get done through treaties that will destroy our very Freedom itself! With all this now before you, please make sure that everyone you know is made aware of what is shown here so they will see the real Obama and not the Politician that he displays all over the television!

If Obama is willing to destroy our national Sovereignty, why would he even worry about the First Amendment at all, hell, Obama does not even want the Constitution, he has stated that he finds the Constitution most troubling since he cannot get anything done the way he wants to do it! This is not a President, this is a DICTATOR that does not believe in the Constitution or what it stands for! It is time to call Obama out and let him know that the United States is, “For The People, By the People, and of the People”, not a nation lead by Obama, for Obama, by Obama!

It has been called to our attention that many of Mayor Kip Holden’s antics have been left unreported in our local media. When accusations were printed and sent out in a public flyer of the Mayor having a sexual affair with another man’s wife, only one news media outlet dared to report on it, and did so as if it were a hoax. They also seemed to deliver a word of caution from the Mayor’s legal counsel to those who wrote the accusations. But that news story never followed up on the actual accusations being made in that flyer. We at Louisiana Conservative have learned through our time of writing on current events since 2004, that when a politician insists of his or her innocence, usually following up will prove the accusations were indeed… TRUE.

So we began to ask the question in which you, our local media, did not: “Do these accusations bear any truth?” After doing our research, it leaves us to conclude one of two things:

If you would just barely scratch the surface you will find some rumors. If you scratched a little deeper, you will find more truth and even more rumors. The deeper you scratch, the more truth you will find. Additionally, the severity of these rumors continue to get worse and worse. One can easily conclude that you are protecting the Mayor by refusing to investigate. If this is the case, then my question would be, “Why would you stake your reputation and the reputation of your colleagues by denying the Baton Rouge public the truth?”

The second conclusion is that it’s not a cover-up on your behalf and what you really need is a little professional help. That would be us, Louisiana Conservative, sent to help the professionals do their job. You want to ask some questions? Let’s start with Kip’s appearance at the state capitol on May 22, 2007, when he appeared in front of the Criminal Justice Committee. Did you call it to the public’s attention that our Mayor had injuries on his face and that he claimed he slipped and fell onto a doorknob? Is that believable? Do you think it’s possible, just maybe, that politicians lie?

Since the flyer was a lead story that Kip Holden and Mary Olive Pierson claimed were slanderous and that they also claimed that there would be legal action taken against those involved, where are the follow up stories? Did they ever catch the perpetrators? In fact, we did our research and what we found was that the accusations made against the Mayor were indeed true, and we named names.

Why is Darrell Glasper suing Kip Holden for Slander? Did the Sharper brothers ever get convicted or even charged? Why was Scott Wilfong found innocent of any wrong doing? Why did Mary Olive Pierson drop the investigation? Is it true that Kip Holden believes he can use the media to destroy anybody he so chooses? Why did Kip Holden consistently need his body guards with him until 2 a.m. and often until 4 a.m.? What Mayoral duties was he fulfilling? We’re certain he was filling something at taxpayers’ expense, but it was surely not his duties as Mayor.

In fact, as one example, you will note that during the week of the Fourth of July 2007, Mayor Kip Holden had spent every night out until the morning hours. However, the police officers that were protecting him were sent home early on the fourth. Why is that significant? Because there was a shooting at the levee after the fireworks event. If ever there was a night that Mayor Holden needed protection late into the morning, it would be on the night that there was a shooting at a city-sponsored event.

What if you found the accusations in the flyer to be true, as we found them to be? What would the purpose of the on-duty police officer be to stay outside of the house of a married woman in which Kip Holden was having a sexual affair? Would it be to prevent the husband from entering his own home in which he pays property taxes? Is it legal for the police to prevent a man from entering his own home when he personally has done nothing wrong? What if this man who allegedly beat Kip Holden grabbed a pistol and chased after the Mayor? Would it be the duty of the police officer to protect the Mayor then? If that would have happened, would he be justified in his actions? Is the Mayor unjustly putting the lives of the officers at risk?

Perhaps you feel that the general public feels as if this is all unimportant – that what Kip does with his personal sex life is his business. I assure you that those who may not care, will not until it happens to them. Then they will ask the question, “Why doesn’t somebody do something about this?” You know the saying of how silence is approval. Do you wish to continue to approve of this by staying silent? Or do you wish to bring this injustice to the public’s attention?

Since we began to ask questions, we have found that many more people are willing to come forward to us to give more information. We have learned that the incident cited in the flyer may not be the only one. We have also learned that there are many other things that the public – notably the residents and taxpayers of Baton Rouge – need to be aware of concerning Kip Holden in which we will be happy to report since you are failing to do so.

We recommend you start researching whether or not our Mayor is really doing his job. Now, you could hire us – but then again, we kind of relish this role of outshining you.

I watched the developing story on the Keystone Pipeline with an interest that some may consider to be half crazy and half determination! I could not believe that our president, Obama would turn down a deal that would bring oil from not just the Canadian oil fields, but also from our own oil fields to refineries along the Gulf. I wondered why did this happen, who was really behind this? What does the Keystone XL pipeline really encompass? I decided to just ask a few questions directly to the Trans Canada people themselves. I sent them 8 simple questions and a man named; Shawn Howard sent me answers to the 8 questions I asked. I was going to encapsulate the article within the questions but decided to just place the questions and answers as I got them and give a brief discussion below each answer then add what other interesting information I have found.

The following questions and answers are as they were presented to Trans Canada in relation to what the Keystone XL Pipeline was about. The answers were given to me by Mr. Shawn Howard of Trans Canada.

Question 1. How much per barrel is the oil that the Keystone Pipeline
will provide?

TransCanada is hired to safely transport or provide a product, based on our customers’ needs. We are not an oil and gas company, we are an energy infrastructure company. As a result, we are not involved in the development of the oil that will flow through the Keystone system, so we can’t say how much it will cost (each company will have their own costs).

Question 2. I understand that some oil is being shipped by rail so which
rail company is providing the tank cars for the transportation of this oil if it is being done this way?

Without access to a pipeline, oil is typically transported by rail, truck or tanker. Since we are not involved in the rail business, I cannot tell you all the companies who are involved, but even a quick look on the internet would show that Burlington Northern, CN and some others do move oil products throughout North America.

Question 3. How many EPA permits have been granted but now under Obama
have been retracted?

Not all permits and approvals required for a pipeline project like this come from the EPA. There are many government agencies at the state and federal levels.

Question 4. How many present pipelines your company owns has had problems
in the past if any, such as bursting, catching fire, or other Environmental problems attributed to your pipelines if any?

TransCanada has been in the pipeline business for over 60 years and is a leader with one of the best pipeline safety and operating records in the industry. The biggest risk to pipelines are not corrosion or issues related directly to a section of line, but third-party strikes. This is why we are so active in supporting dial before you dig programs and landowner awareness along our entire pipeline system.

After the first Keystone line went into operation, we did have some releases of oil on some of our pump station sites. Most of these were less than five gallons and the product was contained on our lease. We did have one larger release, but the only oil that went off our lease was a slight mist – all of that grass was cut and taken away to be properly disposed of. There have been no environmental issues with any of these releases and there is absolutely no issue with the integrity or safety of the Keystone pipeline.

Each day in the U.S., more than 200,000 miles of pipelines move oil and other energy products safely to where they are needed – that’s enough pipe to circle the earth eight times.

We monitor our pipeline system through a centralized high-tech centre 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Keystone XL will use satellite technology that sends data every five seconds from 21,000 data points to our monitoring centre. If a drop in pressure is detected, we can isolate any section of our pipeline by remotely closing any of the hundreds of valves on the system within minutes. Since the pipeline is four feet below the ground, we can begin repairs immediately and effectively.

National pipeline statistics indicate that pipeline accidents are uncommon and that leaks tend to be small; most pipeline leaks involve three barrels or less, 80 per cent of spills involve less than 50 barrels and less than 0.5 per cent of spills total more than 10,000 barrels. According to the Association of Oil Pipelines, spills along hazardous liquid pipeline rights-of-way have fallen from two incidents per thousand miles in 1999-2001 to 0.8 incidents per thousand miles in 2005-2007, a decline of 60 per cent.

Question 5. Will your company sell to Chinese interests if you cannot get
approval for the pipeline Obama has stopped?

The oil that we transport is not “ours” – it is always owned by our customers. Who they decide to sell to is their choice and in keeping with how a free market works.

Question 6. Are you able and willing to wait until Congress forces the
vote to accept the pipeline?

The decision on when to re-file an application, or what that application (or applications) may look like is up to our customers and shippers. As a business, if we do not have commercial support, then projects like this cannot proceed. Since the denial of the Presidential Permit at this time, we continue to talk with our shippers and customers to get their direction on how to proceed next.

Question 7. Which Government official in the Obama Administration is
giving the most problems with your efforts to build this
pipeline?

We are working with many departments to advance the Keystone XL pipeline. We will continue to do so when we file a new application to secure approval of this critical piece of North American energy infrastructure.

Question 8. How many pipeline does your company have running through the
United States at this time?

TransCanada currently has about 1,600 employees who live and work in 33 U.S. states. We have been operating in the United States for more than 60 years – we are a truly North American company.

We are one of the largest natural gas pipeline operators – delivering about 20 percent of the natural gas that is consumed in the U.S. every day.

As can be seen by the answers to these questions, this project seems to have met all of the prior requirements except as shown in question number 6, which states, “Since the denial of the Presidential Permit at this time.” Here it is VERY clear that the “Presidential Permit is the problem and this goes Directly to Obama himself! Why is Obama holding up the progress that would help ease our dependence on foreign oil? Why has Obama gone and stopped a project that would help the UNITED STATES? Only Obama himself can answer these questions, but upon digging into this I have also found out that there may be some conflict with Warren Buffet, remember this is very speculative at the moment, but the question does pop up especially since Warren Buffet owns Berkshire Hathaway Inc., which has interests in a number of different companies including ones such as GEICO Auto Insurance, Fruit of the Loom, and several other companies, but the ones that bring questions are the ties to the MidAmerican Energy Holding Company which has several different businesses that may well conflict with a pipeline since they may well be in competition with KeystoneXL. Warren Buffet has interests in a pipeline that was NEVER intefred with coming out of Wyoming and crossing Utah and Nevada without much news coverage over it if any at all! This project is called the Kern River Gas Transmission project.

Has anyone ever wondered why it is that the Kern River gas Transmission Pipeline was never given the same scrutiny that the Keystone XL was given? Could it be that the reason was because the Kern river pipeline was owned by Obama’s friend, Warren Buffet? Nothing can be shown here that this is true in any way, but the question has never been asked and few if any even know about this natural gas pipeline called the Kern River expansion project. It just makes one wonder why is the Keystone project being stopped while the Kern River project was done with very little fanfare?

Another subsidy of MidAmerican energy is called Northern Natural gas and this company has pipelines going through the very states that are now complaining about the Keystone XL project! This company has pipelines that go through Texas, Okalahoma, Nebraska, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Kansas, Illinois, and South Dakota to mention just a few States that this pipeline goes through. I am positive that many other pipelines go through nearly every state in the United States, but the big question arises when it comes to the closeness of these companies to the Keystone XL pipeline and why this one project was stopped by Obama?

With all this, one has to question why this project that could produce jobs has been shut down by President Obama? Is it because a possible conflict with Warren Buffet’s projects and businesses that also have pipelines in the same areas, or is it just because Obama just does not care or know what he is doing here?

Now the Prime Minster of Canada, Stephen Harper is in discussion with the Chinese about oil sales and some other economic ties since President Obama turned down Canada’s Keystone XL pipeline! How could Obama turn down this pipeline with oil coming from our neighbor and some from North Dakota also. This may well turn out to be the worst decision by Obama since it would help get our nation off the foreign oil that comes from the people that hate our nation so bad! It just makes one wonder why Obama has made this decision when Canada wants to meet all requirements to get this pipeline done! Now it looks like Canada will just build a pipeline to the Pacific and ship that oil to China!! Once again Obama has sent jobs to China when people here in our borders are desperate for jobs!! Our nation, the United States absorbs some 97 percent of Canadian oil imports, but now China may take some of that away from us because Obama has chosen to stop the KeystoneXL pipeline. The Chinese have invested some 16 billion dollars in Canadian energy and are now looking to obtain more, if Obama does not move now, our nation will once again lose to China!! Prime Minister Stephen Harper is now even more determined to build a pipeline to the Pacific coast so Canada can move the oil that could have been moved through the Keystone XL Pipeline, to China through his proposed Pacific Pipeline. What was Obama thinking when he stopped the pipeline that was nearly ready to go through? The Keystone XL Pipeline would have brought a large number of jobs, estimates go from a few hundred to several thousand, but due to the “POLITICS” of his, Obama’s, mind set. In yet another time where Obama had the people he appointed say that the project was good, he once again turned down their very good advice in favor of what HE wanted.

Jack Gerard, the CEO and the President of API stated,

“What we see and what we hear from this administration are two different things. No place is this more clear than the decision today on the Keystone XL pipeline. President Obama said last year that many of the shovel-ready jobs imagined by his stimulus program were ‘not as shovel-ready as we expected.’ But the Keystone XL pipeline would create 20,000 new U.S. construction-related jobs over the next two years. More importantly, it would help support the creation of half-a-million new jobs by 2035. But today … in a clear abdication of presidential leadership, the president will reject the Keystone XL pipeline. How can you say you are for jobs and reject the largest shovel-ready project in America today? Mr. President, what are you thinking?”

Gerard also stated;

“The president has had three years to make a fundamental decision: Is this in the national interest?…The president has missed an easy opportunity to do what’s in the best interest of the United States.”

Now how can anyone even consider the fact that Obama said he wants to help our nation when he, Obama, makes these types of dumb decisions based solely on “politics” alone? This is not what a President does when he really wants to help the people! The President is supposed to lead, but Obama has failed with the KeystoneXL pipeline! Even the very Unions that Obama is “supposed” to help made complaints about what Obama did when he turned down this project and maybe sent the oil that could decrease gasoline prices to China!

Terry O’Sullivan , the General President of Laborers’ International Union of North America stated,

“We are completely and totally disappointed. This is politics at its worst. Once again the President has sided with environmentalists instead of blue collar construction workers – even though environmental concerns were more than adequately addressed. Blue collar construction workers across the U.S. will not forget this.”

This is in the nations best interest, but Obama does not consider the KeystoneXL Pipeline as a national interest, yet oil from near and within our borders IS in the best interest of our nation yet this President cannot see this due to his high apparitions of being re-elected! Obama has decided that his re-election is a much more important issue then a pipeline that would not only provide jobs, but also is in the best interest of our nation, yet Obama has no idea of what is best for this nation other then what he, Obama, wants! If obtain oil from just north and in some instances within our borders is NOT in the nations best interest, I have to wonder from where is Obama basing his assumptions on? Has Obama made the decision that it would be better to obtain oil from Communist China then from our neighbor to the north? Why does Obama “Politics” have to be a determination to the best interest of our nations use of fuel? Come on now, we need oil and the Keystone XL project would not harm anything at all!!!

The only thing that has kept the Keystone XL pipeline from becoming a reality is the “POLITICAL” asperations of Obama!! This is NOT the way our nation or the President is supposed to work. Obama was supposed to be FOR the people, but with the Keystone XL project, it becomes very clear that Obama does not care about anything BUT HIS re-election!!

Recently counsel for Mr. Holden—Mary Olive Pierson—without any public provocation from Darrell Glasper, my client, publicly attacked Mr. Glasper by calling him a liar multiple times and calling the serious allegations in his lawsuit against Mr. Holden “laughable.” Ms. Pierson’s attack on Mr. Glasper’s character was disseminated to a minimum of 500,000 citizens between the BR Advocate’s print and online subscribers. This number does not include the millions of potential readers throughout national and international syndication who were likely exposed to her attack. Thus, many, many people were exposed to a prominent member of the Bar directly attacking Mr. Glasper’s character and integrity because he chose to exercise his right to petition the court against Mr. Holden.

Instead of allowing the Court and a jury to be the ones to determine the merits of Mr. Glasper’s claims, Ms. Pierson has publicly—and recklessly—jeopardized that process by publicly attacking both Mr. Glasper personally and his claims. As said, she has called him a liar multiple times and called the allegations in his lawsuit laughable. In so doing, Ms. Pierson has taken this case outside the parameters of the court room and created an ethical duty on my part to publicly respond and therefore protect the public record. If I failed to address you today in response to my client being publicly called a liar—and correct the false public perception that she may have created about him—then I fail in my duty to my client.

Now to be clear, Ms. Pierson has the freedom as an American to say whatever she wants, about whomever she wants, no matter how false her comments may be. But, as you and I both know, where there is great freedom there is also great responsibility. If Ms. Pierson enjoys the freedom to publicly attack the character of another American in the eyes of hundreds of thousands if not millions of people—and to call him a liar multiple times—to call his allegations laughable—then she has a corresponding public duty to publicly state specifically what Mr. Glasper is lying about, and which of his allegations are laughable.

This is the essence of fairness-the essence of justice. If Ms. Pierson cannot publicly defend her own public statements, then she owes Mr. Glasper a formal public apology and retraction of her comments.

In direct response to Ms. Pierson’s public statements that Mr. Glasper is a liar, and that his allegations are laughable, allow me to address it directly and very clearly: Mr. Glasper lied about nothing in the past regarding his allegations against Mr. Holden; Mr. Glasper is not lying now, and Mr. Glasper will not lie in the future. Everything that he has stated is true.

And so I ask, in defense of my client, and in direct response to Ms. Pierson’s public allegations:

WHAT IS MR. GLASPER LYING ABOUT?

1. Is he lying when he states that Ms. Pierson boldly called for a full and aggressive federal and state investigation of Glasper’s allegations against Mr. Holden contained in this newsletter/flier; that she swore that whoever promulgated the flier was “dumb as a box of rocks,” and that he would be punished to the maximum extent of the law, and then later—and with no credible explanation—Ms. Pierson abruptly called for an end to that investigation? One minute it is an extremely serious investigative matter, and a few days later it is of no moment. Is this a laughable allegation? Ms. Pierson owes the public and the citizens of this community an answer to this question. Why did Ms. Pierson call off this investigation into false allegations against the Mayor that according to him, “almost destroyed my family”? Why is Ms. Pierson content with nobody being held accountable for such a viciously false public attack on Mr. Holden, her client whom she is duty bound to protect and defend? Every media outlet in the state of Louisiana ought to be asking her this question relentlessly until she provides a satisfactory answer to it.

2. Is Mr. Glasper lying when he alleges that Mr. Holden has used or is using my tax dollars and your tax dollars to engage a security detail to escort him and protect him while he has sexual relations with married women? Using my money and your money—our money—not his money—for this purpose? Is this is a lie?

3. Is Mr. Glasper lying when he alleges that he was specifically implicated in the original complaint filed with the Ethics Board over the source of this flier, and yet he was never prosecuted, never brought for hearing, never pursued at all? Never even questioned until it was too late for them to take any action against him? Is Mr. Glasper lying about this?

4. Is Mr. Glasper lying when he says that Mr. Holden ordered his tax payer funded security detail—my money and your money—our money—to flee the scene of a potential crime when he was having relations with a married woman and her husband came home—physically confronted Mr. Holden, and injured Mr Holden, although Mr. Holden apparently had no concerns for the safety of the married woman when he fled the crime scene. Is it a lie that a hard working man came home unexpectedly to find a Baton Rouge Police officer standing guard at his door to prevent him from catching a high ranking official- intruder- Mayor Holden- in his home having sex with his wife? An official who is paid by his tax dollars? An official whose officers who guard him are paid by his hard earned tax dollars- and also your tax dollars and my tax dollars- your money and my money. Is this a lie? Is Mr. Glasper lying when he says that video evidence of Mr. Holden’s injuries exists and that this footage shows chuckling before the legislature as to how Mayor Holden sustained these injuries?

To reiterate, in response to Ms. Pierson’s bold public assertion that Mr. Glasper is lying and that his lawsuit is laughable, I emphasize again that he is lying about nothing, has lied about nothing, and will lie about nothing. His allegations are true. A full and complete federal and state investigation will show conclusively what witnesses are already coming forward and stating: Mayor Holden has abused the power of his office for personal gratification that has nothing to do with public matters or public concern. Further, Mayor Holden’s acts have been covered up to this point.

Ms. Pierson is absolutely right about one thing: Somebody is lying. Somebody is covering up. But it is not Mr. Glasper. I call upon Ms. Pierson to return to her original vocal position by again calling for a full and complete investigation into these allegations once again—as she did before- and allow that investigation to proceed through its natural course.

It is my hope that no judge, administrator, law enforcement agent, or other person has been swayed by Ms. Pierson’s public rhetoric. But I am under an affirmative obligation to protect Mr. Glasper from public attacks on his character. I am duty-bound to ensure that Mr. Glasper’s serious claims are permitted to proceed through full discovery and adjudication—despite any attempt to delay and obstruct that objective. Let me be clear: I am confident that a full and complete investigation into these allegations will not be impeded or delayed by any person, for any reason until the full truth of these allegations is known. Anyone who impedes this process is complicit in wrongdoing and should be held fully accountable by every legitimate means available.

Lastly, and as alluded to earlier, witnesses are coming forward alleging extremely serious acts and omissions against Mr. Holden. My office is referring those witnesses to the appropriate law enforcement agencies for investigation. I am not involved in the criminal investigation and am not at liberty to reveal any names of witnesses at this point. I can verify on good authority that a formal criminal complaint has been filed against Mr. Holden by a decorated law enforcement officer and is being investigated, and that law enforcement is interviewing other witnesses.

A man we will call Doug, woke up early to avoid the traffic jam he was forced to fight everyday going to work. The traffic problem was caused mainly by the congestion on I-10 at the Mississippi River bridge. The State of Louisiana wanted to widen the I-10 at the bridge but the local senator killed the funding to avoid inconveniencing a few of his constituents.

Doug worked hard all day at his job knowing that 30% of his pay would go to taxes. He didn’t mind paying his share because he was a patriot. Doug knew the taxes were used for education, public safety, and all required government agencies making life good for all. Doug didn’t watch the news on T.V. or read the newspaper. Doug was busy providing for his family, attending church on Sunday and doing those things a responsible husband was supposed to do. This was Doug’s life a couple of years ago before he decided to go home early from work.

A Police Officer stood guard outside of Doug’s home trying to prevent Doug from catching an intruder in Doug’s house having sex with Doug’s wife.

The intruder, a high ranking public official attacked Doug and fled. Doug’s life was shattered, his dreams gone. When the event became public, he was portrayed as the villain. So what if the official was having an affair, it is the official’s private life, the news article inferred. No mention of the police officer standing guard, a true crime in a civilized community.

Doug remembered being in Iraq during the fall of the Saddam Hussein regime. It was discovered Saddam and his sons would have sex with whoever they wished and if the spouse or boyfriend complained, they would be murdered, imprisoned, or humiliated by the police. Saddam spread public money around to community leaders and money controlled the media.

Doug was depressed and went into seclusion until he read about a law enforcement officer coming forward to fight the corrupt activities. The news media immediately started trying to expose the honest police officer rather than the corrupt official and his private goon squad.

The courage of one lone law enforcement officer brought hope to the honest officers and they began speaking out.

Doug’s faith in the country he had fought for slowly started to return.

When the media had the opportunity to break the story, did they investigate the right story?

We all ask this question as we relate to all of our own ideas and homes we live in. This question has many answers and many varied ways to obtain the answers. I tend to agree with a few people I am going to show below and believe we as a nation are close to failure if “WE THE PEOPLE” do not take any action to bring Congress, the President, and the Justice Department back to the appropriate use of the Constitution, not the way they are presently “ABUSING” the Constitution for their own purpose of their political party. The writing below comes from several older sources and actually show how our nation formed and where our nation may well be at this present day and time. This title actually came from an entire brief article done by a Scottish history professor named Alexander Tyler back in 1787 at the University of Edinburgh and made the following statement about the fall of the Athenian Republic about 2,000 years earlier. Mr. Tyler stated;

“A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government.”

“A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury.”

“From that moment on, the majority always vote for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, which is always followed by a dictatorship.”

“The average age of the world’s greatest civilizations from beginning of history, has been about 200 years.”

“During these 200 years, those nations always progressed through the following sequence:

1. from bondage to spiritual faith;
2. from spiritual faith to great courage;
3. from courage to liberty;
4. from liberty to abundance;
5. from abundance to complacency;
6. from complacency to apathy;
7. from apathy to dependence;
8. from dependence back into bondage.

These 8 simple ideas show the complete cycle of great empires such as Rome, Greece, Egypt, and some many others that have followed this same path from humble beginnings back into where we came from a cycle that at the moment, the United States is facing. Some people will wrongfully say that this will never happen in the United States, but if one follows what has happened here they can see that although the United States has gone beyond the ideal 200 years, we are at this moment entering the phase numbered 7 above, “From apathy to dependence.” Right now the United States has approximately 47% of the people in some sort of dependence from the government of the United States.

In a recent election in Louisiana only some 20% of the people turned out to vote! This is totally unacceptable since it shows that we are truly at level 7 of the chart Professor Tyler presented back in 1787! How long may our nation last with such apathy towards elections? Sure this is one state, but it has developed in all states to some level. “WE THE PEOPLE” have taken the old adage, “LET GEORGE DO IT!” to a new level. As voters, we should vote at EVERY election, not just ones we see that will benefit us! That also goes back to Professor Tyler when he stated that, “A democracy will continue to exist until the time that voters discover they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury.” Here we can clearly see that as a nation, we have come to this point and due to our lack of doing what we as a people should do, “VOTE”!

We have elected officials that see the people want only certain things and they know that they can obtain what the people that voted them into office want because they do not have to worry about being voted from office because only a small percentage of people are now voting and placing officials in positions that give those who vote what they want even while the majority scratches their heads wondering how they could do this! All because “PEOPLE” who did vote did so because they wanted something for nothing and to get that they went and voted for those who would do that just to get re-elected! If we register to vote, we should and we should vote in ALL elections or we will see that those that don’t want to work will take from those who do until there is no more to take!!

If the United States is to make a mockery of this philosophy of Professor Tyler, we must VOTE in every election and we must make sure that more then a mere 20% vote! If 20% of the people can control the other 80% just by going out and vote, then we lose the one thing this nation was built upon, “MAJORITY RULE”! It is a very sad day when a small amount of people can control the majority just due to the fact that the majority stayed at home on election day!

If “WE THE PEOPLE” do not get out and vote in every election, we cannot blame anyone but ourselves when our nation, the United States, fails since it is us, the voters that can and should control our nation and NOT the politicians that obtain their votes through the apathy of the many! Our nation is just a mere one step from becoming a nation in bondage so “WE THE PEOPLE” had better wake up, register to vote and most of all, VOTE in all elections no matter how much we don’t care about them, because if we do not, those in power will TELL us what we can and cannot do!!

The Mayor’s attorney, Mary Olive Pierson, said publicly that the information was false and the picture of Mayor Holden was doctored up making him appear to have a swollen lip and black eye. Ms. Pierson also said they were going to sue and demand a criminal investigation of those involved. She requested a criminal investigation and two days later asked the investigators to stop and withdrew Mayor Holden’s request. No suit was ever filed by Ms. Pierson. The news media never investigated or asked why Ms. Pierson dropped the investigation or why she never followed thru with her threats.

On Jan. 2012 a video from the state archives was found showing Mayor Holden with a swollen lip and black eye. The picture in the newsletter was accurate and so was the story. You can see the video here and Holden will appear at approximately the 40 minute mark.

Several days ago a member of law enforcement and a well-known member of the news media came forward with information of criminal activity involving Mayor Holden and a few members of the Baton Rouge Police Dept.

The officer filing the criminal complaint has served with honor for 19 years and is twice decorated for valor and numerous other commendations. In the criminal complaint the officer said, “Due to my dedication to my profession, my fellow law enforcement officers, and my concern for the public, I hereby file a formal criminal complaint against Mayor Holden for malfeasance in office and abuse of authority.”

It has been known for the past couple of years that a cover-up was taking place in Baton Rouge by the Mayor, the police department and the media. Kip Holden is the first african-american to be elected mayor and when he was elected 65% of the voters were white.

Criminal complaints are expected to be filed against others involved.

There is also a civil suit against Holden, and his attorney Mary Olive Pierson is trying to get the case thrown out. If the case goes to court the depositions could expose more criminal activity by the Mayor.

You can bet your money big time politics will take place and all favors will be called in or promised. It is going to be a long hot summer in the Capitol.
