To shorten things up, it’s time to “put up or shut up”. It’s time to “put your money where your mouth is”. Really, if you are not signed up for Obamacare, if you have not signed up and purchased insurance on the “exchanges”, then it’s time to shut up about how great Obamacare is. Actions speak louder than words.
I understand that Senator Harry Reid’s office wants me to be upset because John Boehner worked to get Congressmen and their staffers exempted from Obamacare, but as I recall, it wasn’t the Republicans who passed this awful piece of legislation, it was the Democrats with one single Republican vote. If there is anybody we should be mad at, Senator Reid, it’s the Democrats such as Senator Mary Landrieu who passed it, but through her own actions admits the legislation is awful, refusing to sign up for it herself. Senator Landrieu, if it’s so wonderful, put your money and your health where your mouth is, sign up on the exchange. Senator Landrieu can afford the premiums on the Obamacare exchange. Senator Landrieu thought well enough of this program to vote for it and make it law. Senator Landrieu thinks high enough of the exchanges to shut down the government until the Republicans agree to pass funding for Obamacare. Senator Landrieu, it’s time for you to sign up. “Put up or shut up”, lead by example.
I don’t see John Stewart or Bill Maher signing up for it. I don’t see the Hollywood Left signing up for it. If it’s so good, buy your insurance on the healthcare exchanges. So many of them claim that they want to see Mr. Obama succeed, but their actions speak louder than words. How much is your premium on the exchange, Janeane Garofalo? Wouldn’t she be proud to sign up and help Mr. Obama’s prized legislation succeed? Or does she refuse to sign up, wanting Mr. Obama to fail because of the color of his skin?
If Obamacare is so great, so important that we have to shut down our National Parks to get it funded, including the absurdity of shutting down viewing areas from highways, then sign up for it. I see these parks being shut down because government can’t get a budget passed, and what I see is the future, where government shuts down the government ran hospitals because they can’t get a budget passed. Imagine those National Parks being hospitals with barriers around them, shut down because government can’t pass a budget. Every single person who voted for Obama and voted for the Democrats, it’s time “to put up or shut up”.
Everybody in America knows that the “benefits” of this plan. Everybody knows that children can now stay on a family plan until the age of 26. Everybody knows that a you can no longer be denied for a pre-existing condition. Everybody knows the benefits that you folks have been touting for the past 4 years. EVERYBODY knows it. It’s everything else in the law that you passed that people hate. You refuse to sign up for it, but expect everybody else to be on it? How is that fair? How is that fair to your constituents that you get to force people into something that they don’t like, while acting as some kind of overlord? It’s the law you passed, sign up for it, take your own medicine. Act like a leader and lead by example.
Every single person who still insists that Obamacare is so wonderful, I can’t hear you, your actions drown out your words. Soon, nobody will be listening to you. It’s time to put your money where you mouth is. It’s time to put up or shut up. It’s time to sign up on the exchange and boast about your premiums. It’s time to buy a plan and brag about how wonderful your health care plan is. It’s time to show the world through your actions, not your words.
I suspect, though, that most of you will continue to swim in the sea of hypocrisy. With almost nobody purchasing a health care plan on the exchanges, I’d suspect the stench of Liberal hypocrisy will soon overwhelm the American public.
If Obamacare is so great, put up or shut up, lead by example, and put your money where your mouth is.
It’s clear as day, Obamadontcare and neither do the Democrats.
