Protect Religious Liberty

A week ago, following on the heels of the news from the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops on their plans to counter the attacks (here) on religion by our current Administration, the Southwest Louisiana Tea Party initiated the formation of a committee, tasked to become the driving force locally in the fight to wake our churches and their Pastors to the threat of religious liberty being lost. What started as a table full of concerned citizens a week ago, as blossomed into a Facebook page with one hundred and thirty-nine members and growing every day.  The local idea has now turned into a nationwide effort with members from across the nation signing on.

Without Religious Freedom, yes, that includes ALL religions, we will soon have no freedoms. Therefore we must all become a part of this battle waged by the Obama Administration against the Catholic Church. Why? Because they are not going to stop there. The Fortnight of Freedom as suggested by the Catholic Bishops, beginning June 21st to July 4th needs our participation to show Pres. Obama and his minions that Christian Americans will not tolerate the decimation of our First Amendment Rights, or any of our RIGHTS!!!
I know we have much on our plates and so many juggle personal and professional careers along with all the turmoil thrown upon us by a government totally out of control, but I ask you to become an ambassador in this battle as well.
