Senator Mary Landrieu Votes Against the People, AGAIN!!!

July 22, 2013

Leon Puissegur

Senator Mary Landrieu says one thing than when it comes to voting she does another, and most of the time when she votes, it is Against the very people she represents, at least the majority of the people. Senator Mary Landrieu has voted against all those whom have ever voted for her, The poor blacks are not left out when she votes because she also votes to make sure they are kept in poverty that way she can come down to the New Orleans, Baton Rouge and Shreveport areas and tell the poor blacks just how much she has done for them when she has actually hurt them more than any sort of help she lays claim to. The rest of the people in Louisiana seem to be oblivious to Senator Mary Landrieu, can any one remember the way Senator Mary Landrieu voted when the Senate had the opportunity to make “ENGLISH” our national language? In a quick summary, Senator Mary Landriue voted AGAINST making English the national language, our nation should have English as our national language since the vast majority of the people speak English, but at the time Senator Mary Landrieu was appeasing the Hispanic people by voting Against making English our national language!

Senator Mary Landrieu would be quick to point out that she voted to continue the low interest loans for students, but what she would never state is that in order to continue the low rates for college students, the offset would come from tax treatment of certain inherited IRA, and 401(k) accounts, causing these accounts to be taxed at a higher rate to offset the reduction in student loans. Here it becomes clear that Senator Mary Landriue is quick to say yes to a bill that looks good at face value, but when all the little layers are stripped down, it shows that those whom need the money the most would be the ones hurt the most by her votes.

Senator Mary Landrieu just voted for the appointment of Thomas Perez to the Labor Department and this could be viewed as the most direct striker against the union people and the United States itself. Thomas Perez is perhaps the main character that ensured the dismissal of the charges against the New Black Panther Party for their intimidation of Voters in the Presidential election of 2009 even after the charges were not just accepted, but also were found to be a bill of truth. But Senator Mary Landrieu does not care about just who or what this man did before his appointment, she just votes the way Obama has told her to vote, and that ignores the People of Louisiana!

On July 21, 2013 an article was written by one Steve Maley and posted to a blog called “Red State”. The title of the article may well best represent what Senator Mary Landrieu really is or maybe just that she does not know what she votes for but just votes the way Obama wishes her to vote. Mr. Maley may have summed up yet another reason why the people of Louisiana should not vote for Senator Mary Landrieu in 2014 when he stated;

“Why might Perez be less than popular in Louisiana?
In Bossier Parish, the Department of Justice, spearheaded by Perez’s platoons, took a $15,000 grant away from the sheriff’s office’s Young Marines program because participants there voluntarily recited a prayer that mentioned, as prayers are wont to do, “God.” In deciding to strip this paltry support from a popular program, the zealous troops under Perez first sought Sheriff Julian Whittington’s signature on a letter vowing to ban religion and prayer in the program. …”

Here we can see that her vote for this extremist individual will certainly hurt the state of Louisiana, a very religious state! But Senator Mary Landrieu does not seem to mind voting against the wishes of the people of Louisiana, all we have to do is go back to the Afordable Care Act to see that for the right price, at that time 300 million dollars, her vote could be bought and paid for, this even as over 70 percent of the people of Louisiana did not want this huge problem!

But let us go back to her recent vote to allow the appointmentof this Thomas Perez character, a man whom has set his sights against the white people of the untied States. Provenby his own words and actions;

“ Greatly expanded DOJ’s prosecution of alleged hate crimes, which he depicts as a predominantly white-on-black phenomenon
Views “disparate impact”—i.e., instances where particular policies affect whites and nonwhites unequally—as prima facie evidence of discrimination.”

Below is yet another action taken by Mr. Perez;

“In September 2010, Christopher Coates—Voting Section Chief for the DOJ—testified to the U.S. Civil Rights Commission and corroborated Adams’ assertion that the Department had routinely ignored civil rights cases involving white victims. For more than a year, Perez had denied the Commission’s requests to hear Coates’ testimony and had instructed Coates not to testify. But in September 2010, Coates finally chose to go public with his story and asked for protection under whistleblower laws. For the full text of Coates’ testimony, click here.”

Yet it seems that Senator Mary Landrieu just votes for the people Obama says he wants in high offices which will work toward an even worse race relationship due to the very deep-seated racial animosity held by Mr. Perez as shown by his actions towards the white people. But did Senator Landrieu or the rest of the Democrats even consider what this man had done in the past, or did they even look to see? It is a belief that the Democrats just go out and vote for anyone that Obama places as his appointments because this President cannot be wrong and it may well shore up there standing later during their terms in office!

We do not have to look very far back to see just what Mr. Perez has done to the city of New Orleans and we must wonder if Senator Mary Landrieu even knew of his actions towards New Orleans before she voted to approve him, but wait, Senator Mary Landriue could never vote against Obama’s appointees, that would not be right! But this man has a direct connection to what is going on with the New Orleans Police Department and it is due to his actions that the city of New Orleans has had problems!

“Perez has played a key role in opening investigations of several large urban police departments for systematic civil-rights abuses such as harassment of racial minorities, false arrests, and excessive use of force. In 2011, for instance, Perez’s CRD initiated a high-profile push to reform the New Orleans Police Department; “pattern and practice” investigations of police departments in Newark and Seattle; and a preliminary investigation of the Denver Police Department. These actions were consistent with what Perez had stated in September 2010: “In case you haven’t heard, the Civil Rights Division is once again open for business. There were very few [pattern and practice] cases during the prior administration.” On another occasion (in April 2010), Perez had stated: “Criminal prosecutions alone, I have learned, are not enough to change the culture of a police department.” As of March 2013, Perez had initiated 17 probes of police and sheriff’s departments across the United States—more probes of that type than CRD had ever previously conducted under any individual’s leadership.”

Senator Mary Landrieu has once again voted the way a very good puppet is told to vote! Senator Mary Landriue probably does not know the ideology of Mr. Thomas Perez or that he has the feeling tat should one voice an “opinion” based upon religion; he could challenge that even though it is Constitutional!

“In early August 2012, Rep. Trent Franks (R-Arizona), a member of the House Judiciary Committee’s Subcommittee on the Constitution, asked Perez: “Will you tell us here today that this Administration’s Department of Justice will never entertain or advance a proposal that criminalizes speech against any religion?” Perez refused to answer, four separate times. provided some context for this:

“Last October, at George Washington University, there was a meeting between DOJ officials, including Perez, and Islamist advocates against free speech. Representatives from the Islamist side included Mohamed Magid, president of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA)…. The leader of the Islamist [side] was Sahar Aziz, an Egyptian-born American lawyer and Fellow at the Institute for Social Policy and Understanding, a Muslim advocacy group based in Michigan. At the meeting, the Islamists lobbied for: cutbacks in U.S. anti-terror training; limits on the power of terrorism investigators; changes in agent training manuals; [and] a legal declaration that criticism of Islam in the United States should be considered racial discrimination. Aziz said that the word ‘Muslim’ has become ‘racialized’ and, once American criticism of Islam was silenced, the effect would be to ‘take [federal] money away from local police departments and fusion centers who are spying on all of us.'”
Perez raised no objection in response to Aziz. (For a video of Perez’s exchange with Rep. Franks, click here.)”

We could go on even more with some very questionable ideas that this man, Thomas Perez has done that would not sit right with the people of Louisiana, but what does Senator Mary Landrieu care? She may well already have a job with the Obama administration lined up when she loses her bid for yet another 6 years as Senator for Louisiana, but she should not count on winning again since it can be shown numerous times that Senator Mary Landrieu has voted against the wishes of the people of Louisiana and she has allowed Obama to place individuals that do more harm than good into higher offices just so she can say she helped Obama! But this coming year, 2014, it is time to get rid of Senator Mary Landrieu and replace her with an individual whom has Louisiana in their hearts rather than the political party that seems to be awash in scandals and has harmed Louisiana in more than one way or another!
